My Kooky Love Poem

Sometimes I come up with ideas that aren't always that great, others turn out perfect. A couple of months ago I decided to be cute and write my husband a little poem to put in his work lunchbox the next day.

However... cute turned into cheeky, mixed with sweet, mixed with whatever rhymed, and my little cute poem turned into a long one. I didn't plan on writing a poem about farting or falling from trees, but its so me, and not only do I love it, am shocked that I managed to pull off so much rhyming.

My husband has said that I am slowly leaving my little prints around the Internet, so I guess that's one thing down. Snuggle Farting Poem posted on the Internet... Check!

My Kooky Love Poem
For My Mr.D

I love you,
With all my heart,
Even though when we snuggle,
You like to fart.

You love me for me,
For this I am grateful,
Even though at the best of times,
I can be rather painful.

You pee in the shower,
And won’t hang your towels,
But you do sadly invite me to watch,
When you empty your bowels.

I guess it must be love,
To want to share those things with me,
Just as you tolerate,
When I won’t leave you be.

Each morning you leave,
You kiss me goodbye,
It makes me feel special,
Like on a love high.

You call me your princess
But treat me like your queen,
And in return I do my best,
To keep your house clean.

You say I’m spoilt,
Don’t know what I’ve got,
For this you are mistaken,
I have quite a lot.

I have you my sweets,
To snuggle and keep warm,
I have kids, cat and dogs,
Like our own little farm.

Sometimes there are days,
Where I fall from the tree,
And shit gets crazy,
But that’s just me.

With you by my side,
Your love and support,
Nothing but happiness
I must report.

Thank you for everything,
You do for me,
I’ll show you how much I love you,
With snuggles and Tea.

I hope this doesn’t make you cranky,
But brightens your day,
Needed a break from housework,
And had something to say.

To put it in short words,
I love you long time,
You’re my Mr...D
And this is my rhyme.
